The main issue with most email marketing services is that no matter how hard you try, it never appears correctly in all email applications.
What looks good for you in Outlook, is poorly formatted in online email services like Hotmail and Google Mail. Broken images make the email look messy and you cannot get your message to customer base if they cannot see the information.
Where the EMU is different is it can generate and embed images on the fly, so you don't link to external imagery. That means not only can the images be tailored to your customer, but they also appear in the email without any prompting to the user.
